Little Extras

  • Make sure cloths, sponges, sprays and creams are all provided.

    • Salt, herbs, and spices
    • Butter and oil
    • Clean crockery and cutlery
    • Washing up liquid
    • Stock food: pasta/rice
    • Kitchen towels
    • Extra food or drinks
  • Always leave a spare key for guests in the kitchen or common space
  • Leave tourism booklets and info for the area
  • Make sure to leave a guest book including check out instructions, trash, or internet details to ensure both the guest and the host are happy with the end results.

It's important to clean everything once a guest has left. If something sticky has been spilt or the bathroom is a mess, you don't want to leave it a week to fester before dealing with it. You also put yourself at risk of attracting insects or vermin if food or bins are left unattended.
