Meditation in Minimalism

Much like the geometric squares of Stella’s famous minimalistic black series, our group placed a simple square in the center of Zaha Hadids’ curvey tower. Our group aimed to create strong lines which serve to define and divide the use of the space with an austere yet decisive form that is simple, proportionate, and clean. The project is located in Zaha hadid’s Generali skyscraper in the city life district. The skyscraper originally has an office function: it has 44 floors, with a total of 177 meters. Pop Up Exhibition: Digital Teahouse

A traditional Japanese tea house in an urban jungle This bright techno tea house revisits traditional Japanese tea house culture with a modern techno twist. An elevated, digitallly inspired design, the tea house can be placed in a city center, beckoning guests with bright futuristic imagery, using fashion styled geisha’s as the root of the the outdoor design. Once inside, the guest is transported into a dreamlike world thanks to modern LED screens and an interplay with, light, glass and natural custom elements such as wood. The imagery is fresh, unique,

A Comic Collectors Flat

A custom design for a comic book collector. The design focuses around the artists love of all things comics including comic books, collectables and graphic novels. While the 50sqm apartment is small for 5000 comics, a custom transformational stairwell was added for both seating and storage as well as a number of custom finishing’s to round out the space.

Winery Design: Torino Italy

This project encompassed 4500 square feet including a resturaunt, winery, wine tasting area as well as an outdoor terrace in the hills of Torino, Italy. The design features bright colors, custom lighting, shadowplay and a mid century modern furniture plan that is both modern, yet comfortable. The project and thematic colors were inspired by an ancient fresco at a local church just a few blocks from the winery depicting San Marino (St Martin) and incorporates a cloaking theme and symbology found in the stem of the wine glass, or the

Interior Planning and Intervention project for a three-bedroom, single bath apartment located in central Florence, Italy. The client was seeking room for a home office, a comfortable space to raise a child, and plenty of room for storage and entertaining. The project incorporated a moderate build including new a new floor plan with a brand new kitchen, as well as an additional bathroom, laundry area, walk-in-closet, and a safe space for a new child with a workspace just out the door of the nursery.
